URGENT need for manufacturers of needed supplies
Morrison, IL (March 25, 2020) - Whiteside County Economic Development (WCED) sent out the below email message to local businesses and other economic development partners this morning. The message is an urgent call for manufacturers to assist in the production of needed supplies. As a follow-up to this email, WCED is making this notice public through our media partners.
Gary Camarano, Whiteside County Economic Development Director, said, “We want to get this important message out to all Northwest Illinois Region manufacturers, and we don’t want to miss any. Our media partners can be a big help with this.”
Camarano added, “It was said earlier today that ‘our Nation is united in this, with a six foot space between us, but still united’, and I am sure there are a lot of Northwest Illinois businesses that can contribute to the national manufacturing ramp-up of needed supplies.”
URGENT: Manufacturers Needed - Production for COVID-19 Response
You may have seen this before, but there is a need for manufacturers to assist to produce needed supplies.
We received an urgent request from the National Association of Manufacturers on behalf of the White House that the federal government is seeking manufacturers that can produce critically needed supplies for the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. https://namissvr.nam.org/namissvr/survey/index.aspx
We hope you strongly consider taking this survey. Due to the urgency of this request, manufacturers should take the survey as soon as possible.
